Asia continuing to lead EM manufacturing PMIs higher

The EM manufacturing PMI rose to a three-year high in June, driven by improvements in the surveys in much of Asia which have continued to benefit from strong export demand. Manufacturing recoveries are progressing more slowly in parts of Europe. The PMIs also showed that price pressures increased again last month, which is likely to further slow the pace of monetary easing in some EMs.
