Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

Capital Economics is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and as such its activities do not fall under the supervision and protection of the FCA.

Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)

Capital Economics has not been designated as a critical ICT third-party service provider.

In addition Capital Economics is not a ICT third-party service provider which supports critical functions of financial entities.

While our services provide valuable support to financial entities through economic insights and data, they do not exhibit the characteristics of supporting functions deemed critical to the core operations of financial entities. “Critical” in this context means a function, the disruption of which would materially impair the financial performance of a financial entity, or the soundness or continuity of its services and activities, or the discontinued, defective or failed performance of that function would materially impair the continuing compliance of a financial entity with the conditions and obligations of its authorization, or with its other obligations under applicable financial services law.

As such the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is not applicable to Capital Economics.
