ECB not done cutting yet

Alongside today’s decision to cut the deposit rate from 2.75% to 2.50%, the ECB adjusted its messaging to signal that the outlook for monetary policy has become less clear. We still think that the Bank will lower interest rates further but now forecast the deposit rate to bottom out at 2% rather than 1.5%.
