October’s weaker-than expected inflation data, published this week, are unlikely to deter the Riksbank from raising interest rates in the coming months, with a December hike most likely in our view. Meanwhile, although temporary factors weighed on Norwegian GDP growth in Q3, we think that there are more fundamental reasons to expect an economic slowdown next year.
