EM export revenues are on track to fall by a trillion dollars (equivalent to about 3.5% of EM GDP) this year compared to 2014. Although exports are set to remain weak in 2016, we expect the pace of contraction to ease on the back of a pick-up in global demand and as the drag on export growth from low commodity prices begins to fade.
