The bright spot in the Colombian Q4 GDP data published this week was the rise in fixed investment, but the volatile political situation and low savings rate will limit the rise in the coming years. And low investment will result in weaker medium-term growth than is widely expected. Elsewhere, Mexico stands out as particularly vulnerable to President Trump's threat of a 25% tariff on auto imports.
