The National Bank of Poland (NBP) left interest rates on hold again today, at 5.75%, and we think that an interest rate cut at the next meeting in March looks finely balanced. Our current assumption is that policymakers deliver a 25bp cut at that meeting but, even then, we think there is only limited scope for monetary easing this year.
