What to look out for in Saudi Arabia’s 2017 budget

Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister, Mohammed al-Jadaan, will deliver his maiden budget later this month, which is likely to reinforce the government’s commitment to tighter fiscal policy in order to adjust to low oil prices. That said, we think there’s scope for the pace of austerity to be eased in 2017, laying the foundations for a modest economic recovery.
