Indian markets have been stable over the past few days, even in comparison to the muted reaction in global market to events in Greece. Looking ahead, even if the worsening situation there causes contagion to take hold, the improvement in India's external position leaves the economy much better placed than a few years ago to weather a bout of market turbulence.
