The Nigerian naira has remained under pressure over the past month and we expect that it will fall further as foreign reserves dwindle and the currency continues to adjust to lower oil prices. We have revised down our end-year forecast to 210/$, a 9% fall from its current level. Most other Sub-Saharan African (SSA) currencies have also performed poorly.
