Investment recovering, but not without risks

While the UK led the recovery in investment activity in Q4 last year, the latest data suggest the US and euro-zone are now also turning a corner. But given concerns over economic growth in all three markets alongside structurally higher long-term rates, we expect a timid recovery across the board. And with a growing volume of distress in the US that will need resolving, even aggressive cuts in policy rates there are unlikely to provide a boost.

This publication is a continuation of our work on global commercial real estate markets, which leverages the analysis and insights from the three major real estate investment regions we cover. It is therefore being sent to clients of all three Commercial Property services, as well as all CE Advance clients.
