Should institutions be worried about Renters’ Rights?

By making life harder for unscrupulous landlords, the Renters’ Rights Bill may help drive tenant demand toward institutional landlords who are already complying with most aspects of the proposed legislation. That said, an apparent ‘win-win’ ability for tenants to challenge rent increases does pose an additional risk for the sector, which will hopefully be addressed during the Bills passage through Parliament.
