The Riksbank left both its policy rate and its interest rate forecasts unchanged at today’s meeting, suggesting that monetary policy will be on hold for the foreseeable future. And while policymakers largely dismissed the sharp rise in inflation so far this year, we still think the Bank is likely to hike rates at some stage next year.
