Poland’s retail sales data for December suggest that consumer spending weakened at the end of last year, although the industrial sector held up better than expected and we think that the economic recovery as a whole continued at a relatively healthy pace in Q4. We forecast GDP growth to strengthen to 3.0% in 2024, which is slightly above consensus.
