China’s exports of the “New Three” ended last year at a new record high as US firms continued to ramp-up imports of Chinese-made batteries. Meanwhile, the backdrop of heightened tariffs and slowing green transitions in developed countries has resulted in a greater share of New Three exports heading to emerging markets – a trend that we expect to continue in 2025.
