Until recently the labour market had seemed to be immune to the Brexit uncertainty which has hampered other sectors of the economy, but there are signs that Brexit is now starting to affect the labour market as well. Slower employment growth presents another downside risk to our above consensus economic growth forecasts, but we doubt that the labour market will weaken significantly.
