Saudi Arabia’s economy grew by a stronger-than-expected 1.6% q/q in the final quarter of 2021 and we think rising oil production will drive above-consensus growth this year. Elsewhere, Egypt’s headline inflation rate climbed to 7.3% y/y in January, its fastest pace since mid-2019 and this could prompt the central bank to bring forward interest rate hikes.
