The past week has seen renewed concern that a slowdown in China will drag on growth in the rest of the emerging world, including Latin America. We think these concerns are justified. But while Latin America as a whole is vulnerable to weaker growth in China, the effects will vary from country-to-country. Chile, Peru and Venezuela look most vulnerable, while Mexico and Colombia are much less exposed.
