Our GDP Tracker suggests that EM growth has slowed once again in recent months. The latest slowdown has been concentrated in Latin America and Emerging Europe, but there are some signs that growth has started to weaken in parts of Asia too. All of this is likely to dash any lingering hopes of a more substantial rebound in EM growth rates to pre-crisis norms.
