Saudi inflation ticked down to 2.9% y/y in November on the back of a drop in food inflation. We think the headline rate will continue to fall back toward 2.0% y/y over the course of 2023. And, if anything, the risks are skewed to the downside if a long-mooted cut to the VAT rate materialises.
