North Korea tensions rising, US election implications

North Korea’s relations with South Korea and its allies have taken a marked turn for the worse over the past month, with experts warning that “the situation on the Korean Peninsula is more dangerous than it has been at any time” since the Korean war. The coming week sees scheduled monetary policy meetings in Malaysia and Pakistan, as well as the publication of GDP figures for the Philippines and Indonesia.
