The rapid headline 11.8% y/y GDP growth recorded in Saudi Arabia in Q2 masked underlying weakness in non-oil sectors of the economy. Even so, Saudi Arabia is a relative bright spot in the global economy and the data cement our long-held view that the Kingdom will record double-digit GDP growth this year, which is well above consensus expectations.
