Egypt Consumer Prices (Nov.)

Egyptian inflation surged to 19.4% y/y in November following the float and subsequent 50% drop in the pound against the US dollar, as well as fresh subsidy cuts. Inflation looks set to rise even further in the coming months which is likely to prompt additional interest rate hikes by the central bank.
