Inflation in both Brazil and Mexico has been a bit higher than we had anticipated over the past few weeks, but we think the broad trend over the next year or so will be up in Brazil, and down in Mexico. Accordingly, interest rates are likely to head in opposite directions too, although in both countries we have a more dovish outlook than the markets.
