Brazil Consumer Prices (Feb.)

The fall in Brazilian inflation in February, to 10.4% y/y from 10.7% y/y in January, was driven entirely by the unwinding of the impact of regulated price hikes implemented in the same period last year. However, with inflation likely to be slow to fall back, we don’t expect today’s data to bring interest rate cuts onto the table.
