Will the ECB provide more support?

The further escalation of the euro-zone crisis has intensified the pressure on the European Central Bank (ECB) to take further remedial action. But while President Draghi may hold open the prospect of further support for the region’s banks after the Governing Council meeting on Wednesday June 6th, he is likely to insist again that it is up to national policymakers to address their broader economic and fiscal problems.
