What to expect from Turkey’s election

Opinion polls suggest that Sunday’s parliamentary election in Turkey will deliver another hung parliament, and immediate attention is likely to concentrate on the likelihood of a coalition being formed. But our sense is that investors should pay more attention to whether the next government, whatever it might look like, will try to regain economic policymaking credibility.
