Turkey CPI (Oct.)

On the face of it, the fall in Turkish inflation last month to a weaker-than-expected 7.6% y/y looks encouraging. However, this masks the fact that core inflation rose to its highest rate in almost a year. With the headline rate likely to rise again, we still think interest rate hikes are more likely than not over the next 3-6 months.
