Russia CPI (May)

Russian inflation remained unchanged at 7.3% y/y in May for the third consecutive month, but it looks like it is on course to edge up over the coming months. As a result, we think that the central bank will continue to resist calls to cut rates. We expect the one-week repo rate to be left on hold at this week’s MPC meeting.
