Income recession to income boom

If the falls in the various measures of national income in Australia in 2015 constituted an income recession, then the surge in the fourth quarter of last year looks like a mini income boom. Whether or not this translates into a period of much stronger real GDP growth depends on what businesses do with the extra income.
