Turkey Consumer Prices (Oct.)

Inflation in Turkey rose to 85.5% y/y in October due to a broad-based strengthening of price pressures. Even so, the central bank will remain under pressure from President Erdogan for looser policy and although the CBRT said it will deliver one more 150bp interest rate cut at its meeting later this month, there is a risk of further easing beyond that, adding more downward pressure onto the lira.
