We think equity and commodity prices will generally head in opposite directions over this year and next.
It’s been a rough start to the week for many commodities; at the time of writing most were lower today, adding to the losses they racked up on Monday after the disappointing economic data out of China. (See here.) Equities, by contrast, have fared a bit better: after a somewhat quiet start to the week they are generally up across the board so far on Tuesday.
