The weather didn't quite return to seasonal norms in March, but it was nowhere near as bad as it was between December and February. We have pencilled in a gain of 200,000 in payroll employment in March, even though the Midwest and Northeast were hit by another big snowstorm during the week that last month's survey was conducted. The rebound in employment should push the unemployment rate back down to 6.6%.
