We don't expect the Fed to begin curbing its asset purchases from the current pace of $85bn per month at the upcoming FOMC meeting, which concludes next Wednesday (19th June). The economic data simply hasn't been strong enough. Moreover, it makes sense to delay any reduction in monetary stimulus for a few months while the fiscal drag linked to the sequestration cuts to Federal spending is at its peak.
