First look at the impact of the Funding for Lending Scheme

It’s still early days, but the first set of data for the uptake of the Funding for Lending Scheme are underwhelming. Only six of the 35 institutions signed-up had borrowed any money by the end of September, and of those six half reduced their lending to households and firms over the third quarter.
