Will the good news keep coming in 2014?

We expect the broadening out of the recovery from consumer spending to the rest of the economy to be one of next year’s main developments. Other key things to watch out for in 2014 include a modest easing of the near-term fiscal squeeze, stronger productivity growth, weaker inflation and the persistence of low gilt yields.
