Falling inflation will benefit some more than others

While all households have faced elevated inflation in recent years, the experience has not been uniform. However, differences in inflation rates are likely to be narrower over the next few years than in the past and all household types should benefit from a fall in inflation in the near term. But younger age groups are likely to gain least from this prospective boost in purchasing power.
