Mexico Consumer Prices (May)

If there were any lingering concerns that the weaker peso might trigger a rise in inflation in Mexico, the fact that CPI fell to below its 3% target last month should quash them. This supports our long-held view that the central bank has plenty of room to keep interest rates at their current record low, even if the Fed starts to tighten policy later this year.
