Brazil IPCA-15 (Feb.)

The rise in Brazilian inflation in the first half of this month is concerning, given that January’s data had suggested the headline rate was close to peaking. We still expect inflation to drop back over the course of this year once one-off food price shocks unwind, but it will be a slow grind lower.
