Norwegian rates close to their trough

The Norges Bank’s decision to cut interest rates by a further 50 basis shows that it remains committed to preventing a major economic downturn. But with the economy set to experience a much milder recession that its European neighbours, the Bank is unlikely to have to resort to unconventional policy measures to boost demand.
