Polish Bank signals end of easing cycle

Today’s larger-than-expected cut in Polish interest rates means that we have probably reached the end of the easing cycle. But while some analysts are now suggesting that interest rates will be hiked within the next year, we expect rates to remain unchanged at 3.25% for the next 12-18 months. And insofar as there is any movement in interest rates, we think it is more likely to be down than up.
