No change in Korean rates on the horizon

The Bank of Korea’s (BoK) decision to keep interest rates on hold today was no great surprise given continued low inflation and recent signs of a pick-up in GDP growth. We expect to see rates on hold not just for the rest of this year, but for the whole of 2014 as well.
