The Malaysian central bank (BNM) unsurprisingly kept its policy rate on hold at 3.25% today, and is unlikely to make any changes during the rest of this year. There are some concerns about the pace of economic growth, but inflation has not dropped sharply, unlike in much of the region, and downward pressure on the ringgit is a worry for the central bank.
