Indonesian rates to stay on hold despite inflation risks

Although Bank Indonesia kept interest rates on hold today, there is a growing risk that rising headline inflation will cause the central bank to hike rates before the end of the year. However, provided core inflation remains subdued as we expect, interest rates are likely to remain on hold for the remainder of 2013.
