Bank of Korea in no rush to tighten monetary policy

The Bank of Korea’s (BoK) decision to keep interest rates on hold for a ninth consecutive month comes against a background of weak price pressures. Looking ahead, with inflation set to remain subdued, we think interest rates will be left at their current lows until at least the end of the year.
