Global outlook still points to lower commodity prices

A quick review of recent developments in the world economy supports our relatively downbeat forecasts for the prices of the commodities, notably oil and industrial metals, most sensitive to global activity and financial conditions. We continue to expect Brent crude to end the year well below $100 per barrel, with copper back at $6,000 per tonne.
