The 82,300 increase in employment in March, which was the biggest monthly gain in three-and-a-half years, goes a long way towards making up for the disappointing run of jobs reports going back to the middle of last year. Over the seven months between July 2011 and February 2012, the economy created a pathetic 14,000 additional jobs.
