Surging GDP, stationary RBA

The recent stellar performance of the Australian economy hasn’t made it much more likely that the RBA will raise interest rates sooner because it is businesses that are benefiting most not households. Even if the economy were to continue to grow at the current breakneck speed, with wage growth set to remain subdued for a while yet, the RBA isn’t going pull the rate hiking trigger.
