Of the eleven agricultural commodities we cover, the prices of six have posted gains since mid-November. However, in a number of cases price movements over the last month have seen some sharp changes in fortune. Indeed, while the S&P GSCI Agriculture index has fallen slightly on the month, this masks a swift upward movement in late November which was quickly followed by a sharp decline in early December.
