Inflows of foreign direct investment to sub-Saharan Africa have increased markedly over the past decade or so, with growth being strongest in countries that have a) a large endowment of natural resources and b) improving levels of governance. Looking ahead, we expect this trend to continue in the coming years, with Ghana, Mozambique and Zambia set to benefit the most.
